About Me
Being a mother has changed the way I see the world. Everything has much more meaning because I now have a responsibility to create a world and life for two little individuals. I have become more protective and more investigative of pretty much everything. For example food is not just food to me anymore. It’s a source of fuel and a means of protecting my family from harmful radicals and toxins. Our government isn’t just some mediocre existence in my life anymore because now I see more clearly how legislation affects my world. School isn’t just a place to send your child once they turn five. It’s an integral aspect to the foundation of the rest of their life.
The umbrella to my little ones and myself is my marriage. My husband and I have been married going on six years. Our commitment and friendship is what holds our entire family unit together. Very grateful and blessed to have found a man good enough to not only be a committed husband, but a very involved and loving father.
I have four very ambitious goals this year:
1) To successfully begin my first year of homeschooling my five year old and
2) To really delve into the study of orthomolecular medicine and holistic nutrition. (just a fancy schmancy way of saying no to prescription drugs and giving nature and our bodies a chance to fix us first) My blog posts will revolve around my experience in both areas as well as the occasional antidote on life in Germany and the travels we experience while living in Europe.
3) To really just be myself. The real me and not a version of me and to let go of any fears of judgement.
4) Travel, travel, travel!
